Guest House Suites Boutique Hotel

Great location to be near the beach, restaurants and shopping. The only thing I would keep in mind is the restaurant attached to the inn is very busy. We stayed over a long weekend and on Saturday night it was loud until midnight. I would suggest bringing a sound machine or ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper or have children. The room was clean and parking was right next to the room.

My husband and two adult daughters recently stayed a the Guest House Suites Boutique Hotel in the Marina Suite while in town for a wedding. It was really a beautiful accommodation. The decor was tastefully done with plenty of room for our party. The beds were comfortable as well. Check in was a breeze. The view of the water was GREAT and so relaxing. Although it was too cold to enjoy the private deck on this visit, the entire family is planning on returning to stay here during the summer to enjoy the beaches in the area and drinking some wine on that private deck while soaking up the water views. The location is close to downtown and there was a really nice restaurant and fun bar on the property as well (the restaurant has a killer deck on the water too). I highly recommend staying here!

Clean quaint room, staff was very accommodating definitely recommend. Across the bridge from beautiful Newbury Port and real close to Salisbury Beach. Has a great restaurant The Slip on site and The Deck has great vibes basically on site as well.

Firstly, we made an error on our booking and this was dealt with really well and efficiently. The room was large, the bed and bedding very comfortable, everything was lovely and clean. The restaurant upstairs is not connected to the Inn but we enjoyed a lovely meal there. If you come in season having that so close is such a bonus.

This is old Stripers, just across the Newburyport/Amesbury bridge in Amesbury. Views are stunning anytime of year. Bought ~1yr ago, the place is being completely refitted — my room was brand new. Two open air bars, two excellent restaurants RIGHT THERE. Walking distance to Newburyport, where there are MORE restaurants and bars... Lots of both . (I lived in NBPT 22yrs.) At these locations you can see the bridge go up/dn if you find those things exciting like I do. One unique thing (never experienced this in all my travels) is the place is totally automated, TOTALLY. Way of the future. Have your cell fully charged. I'm back in the area and checking in tonight; see you there!!

I had a wonderful experience. The location is great, walkable to the downtown area and right on the water. The customer service experience was excellent. Although they are not on site, they are very responsive and helpful. A member of my party left their bag in the room after checkout and we flew home. The staff was wonderful and shipped it back to us, which was a huge relief. Thanks so much!

We recently stayed here for almost a week. It is nicely located near the water and near shops and food. I'm writing this review as a guest, disabled person and as someone who works in the interior design field. We split our stay between a King Room and one of the suites. Everything is checked in through phone. No human interaction on site. No prob The King Room was beautiful. Painted in soft light colors it gets lots of natural light! Very comfortable. Small fridge and coffee maker. Bed was super comfy. Little desk is perfect. Suggestion: You could add a small cafe or high top table with two chairs. You have a fridge and it would be nice just to have a place to put my muffin and oj. It could easily fit in the room. Otherwise, just upgrade the carpet eventually. The suite was good too--the stairs are not too bad, even though I have slight mobility concerns. The suite is ok, which is why I gave the "rooms" a 4. You MUST clean the fan in the bathroom, please--its filthy. Otherwise bathroom and floors were pretty clean. We need a paint job in the living room to cover up the condensation marks from the a/c unit. easy fix. Please, Label the switches! It took us half a day to figure out how to turn off the heat in the bathroom and it was 80 outside. Simple labels. Please take out the round table out of 18 and put a simple horizontal table with 4-6 chairs. It would immediately solve the space problem in the living room area--the two large back chairs are hard to squeeze by. By replacing the kitchen table, you add through-way space. The view from the suite is pretty. The rooms are not luxury, but they are nice for the area and they've done a pretty good job with the renovation. I would stay there again.
